Lush Favourites

Lush Favourites

Lush products have been part of my grooming routine for years. A few favourites have crystallized. This article was already online in a similar form in 2013. And like other Repost articles, this one is still up to date.

MINT JULIPS – Lip scrup.
Sugar, peppermint and chocolate taste make this LipPeeling simply perfect. Personally, I don’t eat it after use, but you could. You have the feeling that the sugar melts during the application and afterwards the lips feel refreshed all around. I then use a LipBalm. However, you have to be careful if you have very inflamed lips (like during a cold) or herpes blisters! If you do, use the peeling only very gently and then apply a special cream or LipBalm.

VEGANESE – Conditioner
I first had this conditioner as a test product and was then relieved to finally find a conditioner that wouldn’t make my hair look unwashed. I have the 100ml bottle and can do with it approx. 1 1/2 months with long hair, because I work it only into the lengths and points. I do not live Vegan but for all who do this is this rinse ideal.

FAIR TRADE HONEY – Shampoo
I love honey and also use it solo as a face mask or something similar and this shampoo is just great. The fragrance is an experience and spreading a small amount at the base is enough to keep my hair fresh for 1 1/2 – 2 days. A success, because before I had to wash my hair every day.

OCEAN SALT – Gesichtspeeling
This facial peeling is one of the first Lush products I have used for more than 2 years. It frees the skin from old skin cells and leaves it sea-fresh. But you should take care that none of it gets into your eyes! Who wants can use this peeling also on the whole body.

IT’SNAN WEN HNA – Haarkur
Have fun pronouncing the name of this hair treatment. It is not called the unspeakable for nothing. The care effect is top but the fragrance needs getting used to at the beginning. In the beginning I was therefore also very skeptical but meanwhile I use it for approx. 3 years. One pot is enough for my hair length for about 3-4 months.

BB SEEWEED – Gesichtsmaske
The face mask does indeed soothe and I like the algae as an ingredient. Simply apply and leave on for about 10 minutes or until dry. Then simply rinse off. Who tends to very dry skin should apply after the application depending upon need still a few face cream. Store in the refrigerator.

HERBALISM – Gesichtsreiniger
I have a typical combination skin and am already looking for a good facial cleanser. This does not irritate the skin in the form of tensions after application and it feels fresh due to the light peeling effect. Just take a small amount in your hand, add some water, mix it on your hand and put it on your face. With 100g you can get by forever because you only need a small amount.

SKIN DRINK – Gesichtscreme
The smell of the sesame is very dominant in this cream, but fades after application partially. A little bit is left behind. So you have to like it, but if you like it, you can look forward to well-groomed soft skin that doesn’t stretch and that for the whole day. I first had a tester of it and then got myself the 45ml pot in Berlin and since then it is much easier to apply makeup on the skin.

BREATH OF FRESH AIR – Gesichtstoner

I used to use toner before I cleaned my face. Until a friend told me that it was used after the face cleanser. And that’s exactly what it’s for. Just put 3-4 pumps on a cotton pad and drive it over your face after cleansing. Can also be used after a face mask. This face toner does not weigh down at all and gets the last remnants of the cleanser or the mask down from the skin to prepare it for further care.

Also in the future I will test again and again Lush products and perhaps there will be a second contribution of this kind.
